Established in March 2012 and based in Liverpool, Active TT provides bespoke teaching and educational support across all key stages.
We provide one to one tuition in a variety of subjects and settings. Our successful re-engagement program is well established and includes; travel training, academic engagement and transition support to mainstream and other appropriate settings.
Teaching is tailored to meet individual pupils needs and ensure that challenge is built-in to achieve successful outcomes. Our pupils attained 100% GCSE pass rate in 2020 and we have high expectations for this year. Year 11 students attendance is 97% for the current year which includes pupils who did not attend their main setting. Active TT's holistic approach dramatically improved confidence, enjoyment and attendance.
We provide re-engagement and welfare visits as required by our partnership schools, colleges, councils and parents. We provide online tuition using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and face to face support.
Our teachers have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs. A number of staff have personal and passionate links to these issues. The spectrum of need of our pupils is wide and includes; ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, selective mutism, lack of motivation, low self-esteem and many others. This means that intervention is sometimes short term but others are longer depending on the individual circumstances of each child. We strive passionately to ensure that all pupils are supported educationally and socially and we truly believe that every child matters.
